About the Photographer
I began shooting conventional panoramas in early 2000. My first images were shot with ultralarge format sheet film cameras—an 8"x16" and later a 7"x17". After a brief stint using a 6 cm x 12 cm Noblex in 2004, I started to work with digital capture, stitching 6-8 frames to create rectilinear panos. I still occasionally shoot with a 6 cm x 17 cm film camera as well as digital, but in the past year (2006-7) I have become engrossed with making 360-degree QTVRs. More panoramas (QTVR and traditional) as well as my platinum-palladium work can be seen on my website at www.rogerhein.com http://www.rogerhein.com
