A hobbyist photographer, Markus came in touch with Quicktime VR in 1997/1998 through his workplace, a printing office in Germany. After a few tries at self-made panorama images stitched with Photoshop, he bought the Quicktime VR Authoring Studio 1 (as if there ever was another version ;) and has not stopped spinning around his camera since.
Other hobbies include air brush paintings (though he hasn't done anything for the last few years), shooting short films with a group of equally odd friends, creating 3D animations and in general things with lots of buttons that go "beep" when pressed, especially computers. Recently he got rather frustrated with the way IP law is abused to make quick cash, has pretty much given up on the internet for now and closed down his personal homepage, but still spends a fair share of his time online.
He also thinks it feels strange to write about himself in the third person. :)
