This magnificent waterfall fountain is the creation of José Fontserè made at the end of the 19th century. It has many sculptures by different artists, the Aurora's chariot on top of the midle arch was designed by Rosendo Nobas in 1899. One of the Fontserè's assistants was the young Gaudí, at the time he was a student of architecture, designing the decorative rocks of the waterfall, the iron posts and some other decorative motifs.
