One of my favourite places is the "Miesweg", a path leading beneath the Traunstein. The path is carved into steep rugged rock, with tiny little wooden bridges leading above crevices that end somewhere deep below the surface of the lake. Nearly every autumn I try to capture the atmosphere of this place. This year's effort can be seen in the VR panorama above. The captured location marks the former end of the path. The concrete block is a remnant of the cable car - the only connection to the "Mairalm" (Mairs' Alp) before a small adventurous street was bult to that Alp.
