My mushroom basket has served me well the last 20 years. The original handle is substituded by ropes on purpose - The handle allways got in the way when we had to pack it in the back of the car along with all the others equiptment like camera, microscope etc. Things are drying out here after 3 week with no rain and + 20° C (~ 75 F). But there is still something to find. In the basket I've collected Cantharellus pallens, Hydnum repandum, Amanita crocrea, Amanita cecilia, Agaricus arvensis, Agaricus silvicola and Tricholoma sejunctum - and at the base of the old oak tree there are growing several clusters of Grifola frondosa also known as "Hen of the wood", a fungi said to be good agianst many diseases. Have a look at my other "FungOrama" at: http://in2.dk/svpan and see some fungi stills at: http://in2.dk/svampe/svpic
