The Flevocentrale is a power plant on an island in the Ijsselmeer just north of Lelystad in the province of Flevoland.

The power plant on the left (Flevo 1 and 2) has been inactive since 1995 and there are plans to replace it with a new modern power plant soon. The gas turbine power station on the right is being used as emergency backup system for the power grid with a capacity of 124MW (originally it was able to provide 491MW).

On the dike you can see on both sides a large number of wind turbines. These belong to two windfarms with a total of 46 turbines. Each turbine has a capacity of 600 - 750 kW.
