The title a "Hallow Hollow" alludes to unseen energy with great consequences formed between empty spaces in a skull, between two hands put together, and the eye of a great storm. The 2005 September Equinox, a hurricane, and the World Wide Panorama event came together from September 21-25. This movie shows a satellite image of the storm swirling a person who is in prayer. In a hallow hollow within her mind's eye spins the image of a sculpture. The sculpture is a concrete form filling the void within hands placed together. This position connotes praying, reverently honoring the other, or a clap of recognition. This concentrates healing energy; perhaps more real than the focusing hands. A void within a cavity within the eye of the hurricane is a still axis amid the whirl. The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reported on September 24 that Hurricane Rita's center slammed into the extreme southwest coast of Louisiana near Sabine Pass, Texas, with winds of 120 mph at 2:30 a.m. CT (Central Time, 07:30 UTC). It was a class 3 hurricane. It followed previous Hurricane Katrina that had ravaged the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Especially hard hit were thousands of people trapped and fleeing from the flooded city of New Orleans. The government at all levels failed to respond well, creating a human tragedy. It was reported in excruciating detail in the media, so people far and wide were sensitized and terrorized by the second Hurricane Rita, said to be the third strongest category 5 wind ever recorded over the Gulf and headed in the same general direction as Katrina. The GPS coordinates where the hurricane came ashore are farther west than those for the person and sculpture (29:43:33N, 93:51:45W). Coping with massive earth energy requires inner strength and concentration. In a sense, this is being centered. The link below takes you to a movie called "Into the Void". It demonstrates energy involved in centering. Behind the scene : how this object movie was made
