The atmosphere did not cooperate well for the annual Bond Park Kite festival in Cary, North Carolina. The day was warm and sunny, but with no consistent wind or even a good breeze. Most kites would only fly for as long as their attached child-sized power source would continue to run. If you look closely though you'll see that a few kites did manage a sustained flight, and almost everyone seemed to be having a good time trying to fly.
