The place around the Freiburger Münster was most likely used as a market place since many hundred years - probably even before the Münster was built around the year 1200.

Market takes place each day but sunday. This thursday in march wasn't much action. It's more crowded during holidays -mostly by tourists.

Many thanks to Eckhard Gerteis who made this shot possible by opening some doors that otherwise would have stayed close.

Equipment:
Taken 10 images on Fuji Reala with 1/60 second exposure time at f/8 with Zenitar 16mm Fisheye. Camera mounted on a monopod and held over the railing. Scanned with Nikon LS40 and stitched using autopano and PTGui. Postprocessed in Photoshop. Converted to cubic with PanoCubePlus
