Just north of the small town of Cataviña off the Transpeninsular highway in Baja California, is where this panorama was taken. I think it is one of the most beautiful desert areas I have visited. I was completely entranced by the giant cardón cactus, the exquisite ocotillos, plenty of cholla, and the really weird cirio tree. I found one in this pano that reminds me of Hercules Poirot.
