My "best" of 2006 is not really a single pano but my "virtual tour" page of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park ( http://www.danheimsoth.com/gsm360.htm ). This is one of the 37 full screen panos available there, most of which were shot in 2006. The tour is still a work in progress but I think I've got a good start to it now. This shot is one of my favorites, but was actually chosen just because it was already within the recommended size limits for WWP. The Alum Cave Bluffs is a popular destination for hikers. It's not a cave but an overhanging cliff on the slopes of Mount LeConte.
