I made my first panoramas with the Nikon CP950 + fisheye adapter in 2000, and Helmut Dersch's PanoramaTools.
Currently I use the Nikon D700, D300, D200 and D70 with a range of fisheye and wide-angle lenses, and with various Manfrotto-based pano-heads and NodalNinja.
