ENGLISH: “Sustenance”, and most probably your first thought goes to “food”. And then, from food (and sustenance) for the body, you go to food (and sustenance) for the mind, and so on… However, for supporting or being supported, we must “to be”, or rather, “to be born” Of whom? Of a woman, who becomes a mother, or rather, “the” mother. “The Mother”, to whom the baby is tied inside for nine months, and then, once outside, is tied and relies on, “The Mother”, the highest expression of his sustenance, in every sense. When growing up, this idea takes root, and so here is the “factotum” mother, a cook, a colf, a driver, an assistant for homeworks, sports, parties, and all kinds of activities. And all the above often happens after 6-8 hours of office or of another extra-domestic work. So, don’t be surprised to find them, “The Mothers”, in the guise of “All Blacks” in a recent advertising……….. ITALIANO: Il primo pensiero che viene in mente quando pensiamo “Sostentamento” è, molto probabilmente, il cibo. Da cibo (e Sostentamento) per il corpo si passa poi al cibo per la mente e via immaginando. Pero’ per sostenere, o essere sostenuti, bisogna prima “essere”: Quindi essere nati. Da chi? Una donna che diventa percio’ una mamma, anzi, La Mamma. Alla mamma, il bimbo si “attacca” per nove mesi all’interno poi, una volta all’esterno, si attacca e si affida il bimbo; la mamma è per lui la massima espressione del sostentamento, in tutti i sensi. Crescendo, questa convinzione si radica e così vediamo mamma tuttofare, da cuoche a colf, da autiste ad aiutanti ( compiti, sports, feste, attività varie) e così via. Spesso dopo 6/8 ore di ufficio o altro lavoro extra-casalingo. Ci credo che una pubblicità le abbia assimilate agli All Blacks…
