About a six miles from my house, after passing Hanauma bay nature park on Kalanianaole Hwy, fantastic view opens up what makes the perfect pit stop when I'm riding my bicycle. This stop became my sustenance on the regular ride from home to Waimanalo, Kailua and back.
Right now there's a crew Filming the last episode of “LOST” at Lanai Lookout.
During winter time From late December through April, this is perfect lookout for photographing Humpback whales who migrate from the Aleutian Islands of Alaska to the warm waters of the Hawaiian Islands to give birth and mate.
