ThemeThe MAIN TOWER houses the most elevated public viewing platform in Frankfurt/M. Therefore this platform is a "must see" for visitors who want to see the city of Frankfurt/M. from above.The platform is approx. 200 m (656 ft) above ground level and is reached with one of german fastest elevators, which operates at a speed of 7 meters/second (33 ft/second). The highest building of Frankfurt/M. can also be seen in this panorama. It's the Commerzbank Tower which was the location of my entry for the WWP606 theme "Gardens". That entry can be reached via hotspot in this panorama. Making OfThe shooting was done with a 3.15 meter (appx. 10.33 ft) pole to reach an even more elevated viewpoint above the platform. The lens was mounted with a custom made bracket, which allows to mount the lens to turn around the no-parallax point of the lens.As the lens is a fisheye lens, four pictures easily cover 360°. Due to the lighting conditions I took three exposures at each direction. The exposures were 0.7 f-stops apart. The best exposed set was choosen before stitching.
