As this is my first effort at a pano for the WWP I thought I would take the theme literally and find an attractive garden to enter into the WWP.

Wagga Wagga is a city of approximately 57,000 in inland New South Wales and is a sister city of Kunming in China.

In 1988 the local government of Kunming helped to establish a typical Chinese garden within the bounds of Wagga Wagga's Botanic Gardens.

In summer the garden is a riot of colour and fragrance; in winter, a green reflective place.

I often find myself visiting this spot, halfway between home and work, for a little peace, quiet and meditation.

Time/Date:
June 22, 2006 10:30 local (0:30 utc)

Equipment:
While I'm saving up some $$$ for some good digital gear I'm using a very simple Canon A95 snapshot camera and a 30 year old tripod.

This pano comprises approx 110 (!) 640x480 images, painstakingly stitched with PTgui and converted to MOV with Pano2QTVR.
