Garden Of The Gods1805 N 30th Street (at Gateway Rd.) Colorado Springs, CO 80904 The Garden of the Gods is a Registered National Natural Landmark and has been a public park since 1909. This collection of unique sandstone formations is one of Colorado’s most famous and beautiful tourist locations. It's too bad no Star Trek episodes were filmed in Colorado. This location would be perfect for a fight to the death between Captain Kirk and some evil alien (perhaps a carnivorous lizard thing.) ”The Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the winter months and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Both the Park and Visitor Center are Free and open to the public.” — Retrieved from official visitor Web site http://www.gardenofgods.com June 26th, 2006.
