Breezy Point Beach and Campground in Calvert County, MD is on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. It offers swimming, fishing, camping, a bath house, a snack bar, a playground for children and shaded picnic areas.

The Chesapeake Bay -- the largest estuary in the United States -- is an incredibly complex ecosystem that includes important habitats and food webs.

Breezy Point Beach is a great place to find fossilized sharks teeth that are millions of years old. On an average day you can easily find in excess of 300 fossilized teeth from sea creatures such as mako sharks, lemon sharks, sand tiger sharks, grey sharks, cow sharks, dolphin and even the megaladon. The teeth can range in size from barely visible through 2-3 inches.
