I had a hard time coming up with something for this event. All I knew was that I wanted to do something different.

After a lot of thinking I came up with the idea of making an object VR from a panorama.
I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but I went outside anyway and shot a VR in our neighborhood for testing purposes. After editing and playing around with it for a while, I liked the result so much that it became a keeper and ended up as my entry. It also gave me a chance to have some word-play with the theme of this event :-)

I'm personally very satisfied with the result, and I hope you enjoy it too...

Technical info:
The main panorama is taken with 4 shots around to create an equirectangular image.
This image was later processed with Photoshop and Flexify to alter the projection.
All images taken in RAW mode, and converted with Adobe Camera Raw.
ISO 100, ~f/8, 1/160
