"Ostra" 2006 that is vernal equinox.

On Monday March 20th at 19:27 the sun entered the sign begining the astronomical new year. Spring Equinox is an astronomical border between winter and spring.

This panorama was taken at the ancient stone circle in the village of Węsiory in Kaszuby. Ostra is an ancient celebration of the Equinox, a time of darkness, grayness in which the awakening of spring is a time to start planting and growing seeds.
