This image was made on the Rainbow Bridge, which connects Niagara Falls, New York, USA to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. I set up the tripod right over the international boundary line, which can be seen on the plaque in the foreground. In the distance are both the American and Horseshoe/Canadian Falls. In addition to the obvious international border, this panorama also highlights the border between seasons, as the ice on the Niagara River slowly begins to break apart as winter begins in tedious crawl into spring. There is also the borders between land and water, the elevation border of the Niagara escarpment, and the barricade separating the pedestrian walkway from the vehicle lanes.
