When thinking of borders the one that came to mind for me was one that I work next to all the time. It’s the border of in front of the camera and behind the scene. It is also a border I never intentionally cross. As a camera operator I always stand behind the scene. On Thursday, March 16th I was working on a live television broadcast of a PBS (Public Broadcast System) Pledge Drive when I shot this panorama. Using my “Small Pano setup”, a Sony DSC-W5, .45 wide angle lens and a Nodal-Ninja head I jumped in front of my camera and quickly shot this pano during a five minute tape in the live broadcast. The talent that night was Maria Hall-Brown and Rick Milkey, two KOCE-TV on air personalities. I have been doing these live broadcasts for the last 25 years. This is the first time I have brought a camera into the studio to record what I do. Thanks for looking.
