Brunkebergstunneln in Stockholm is a tunnel through the Brunkeberg-ridge. The name Brunke may come from the coachman Johan von Brunkow around 1325 but it can also mean steep. The tunnel was ready for use 1886 and made it easy to walk trough the ridge instead of over it. Thanks to doors in both ends the tunnel stays warm even through the winter. That, and quite a good acoustics has made it popular to sing in. This saturday the songwriter Jonas Karlhager market/promoted his new songs, together with friend Klas Backman, for people passing by. They have also started a basement recording studio to make it possible to record there songs.
