What can I say? The "Best of" is subjective and in the eye of the beholder, I think. To me this one took a bit effort to catch the bloom. Spring was unusually cool, rainy and late this year. I has been difficult to find a window of opportunity to shoot this "Perfect Pink" cherry tree colony. But when I did, it was magic. Just when I set up for the shoot, the heavy cloud cover broke up and the sun peeked at me. Perfect Pink serenity.

Vancouver's Cherry Blossom Season and Festival is pretty spectacular and in 2008 expected to bloom again from March 25 to April 20. More...
