Like many urban areas where population has increased sharply the space on the ground is no longer enough. So, growth towards the sky and underground gradually develops. The grand horizon of high buildings and large mansions is obvious on the ground. But the Subway is shuttling back and forth and extending in all directions underground. The route of the subway is like a maze. Crowds gather, and form underground commercial circles. There is no change of the sunshine between morning and evening, no clear or rainy or seasonal variation. Totally artificial, public open space. People come and go, in an endless stream. It is a good place to practice my panorama snapshot skills...
