This VR panorama was taken atop Barnegat Lighthouse on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Affectionately known as Old Barney, it is 217 steps to the top.

The light is 172 ft. above sea level and the views are awesome. You can see Atlantic City in this photo, (note the tall buildings way in the back) more than 40 miles away. It was built in 1857-1858 and first lighted in 1859. Sadly the light was extinguished on January 1st 1944, 61 yrs ago.
