Východná Vysoká (2428m) is situated in the heart of the Slovakian High Tatras, which is the smallest mountain range of alpine level in the world.

Another peak nearby is the Rysi (2499m) on the border between Slovakia and Poland. The Slavskovsky štít near Stary Smokovec.
