At 333 meters the Tokyo Tower is 13 meters taller than its model, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and is the world's tallest self-supporting steel tower. It was completed in 1958 as a symbol for Japan's rebirth as a major economic power, and serves as a television and radio broadcast antenna and tourist attraction.

This VR panorama was taken from the Special Observatory platform at 250meters. This is a circular platform about 5-6m in diameter so I worked my way around at regular intervals... a bit of a challenge to stitch as I was way off the nodal point. On a clear day Mount Fuji is visible but unfortunately this was not a clear day...
