This 30 ft high exhibit by Giancarlo Neri was displayed at Parliament Hill Fields, Hampstead Heath, London from 22 June to 9 October 2005. The work is described by the artist as 'a monument to the loneliness of writing' and was located on Hampstead Heath because of its local literary traditions. The giant table and chair sculpture attracted families, tourists, photographers, school children and film makers. The large table legs also served as goal posts for young football players.
