The Sea Terminal is based at the south end of Douglas Promenade. Its unique crown-topped architecture makes this prominent building stand out.

The Sea Terminal building is used by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company for passenger arrivals and departures and houses their ticket sales department. Also within the building are several government departments and a tourist information office.

The semi-circle shaped front of the building allows for a taxi rank to collect new arrivals. Located near by is the starting point for the horse-drawn trams that carry passengers along the promenade.

Also in shot is one of the buildings that make up the island's finance sector.
