The Roundabout "Gais" (diameter: 35 meters), City Aarau, Switzerland, is like a sanctify place of traffic. Everything turns around it. It is forbidden to enter the Roundabout. The Roundabout is a place, that all people knows. But nobody is there. This contradiction fascinates me.

Der Strassenkreisel "Gais" (Durchmesser: 35 Meter) ist wie heiliger Platz des Verkehrs. Alles dreht sich um ihn als wäre der Kreisel ein Altar. Aber es ist verboten, den Kreisel zu betreten oder sich auf der Fläche aufzuhalten. Der Kreisel ist indes ein Platz, den alle Leute kennen. Doch niemand ist dort. Dieser Widerspruch fasziniert mich.
