Nothing is more peaceful than a baby resting. The stillness, the quiet, the magic. The three months that lead up to his birth found his mom on bed rest with three emergency trips to the hospital. The stress of a difficult pregnancy is powerful. On the baby. On the mother. On the family. But all of that disappears the day a healthy baby comes home. And six weeks later, Alex is right at home. In his sanctuary. And it was from this same crib two and one-half years earlier where his older brother was gathered up by his mother in a rush to leave his sanctuary.
