The Sanctuary of the Madonna della Grotta in Praia a Mare is a place of devotion and pilgrimage of amazing beauty. Almost entirely carved out of a natural karst cave opening on the side of Mount Vinciolo, the sanctuary has a recently restored access ramp which, with its well-studied lighting and pebble mosaics spangled all over it, makes the path towards the Grotto even more fascinating. Inside, one can admire the chapel of La Madonna delle Neve with a valuable marble XVI century statue and the church that preserves a copy of the statue of Our Lady of the Grotto.
