Kaz George: Lake Merritt Wildlife Refuge Behind the Scenes: how this panorama was made The focus of this panorama wasn't originally on the pigeons, it was just supposed to be of the wildlife refuge in general. (ducks, geese ect.) However, after I took the whole pano, I waited for a while to see if I could get some pictures of any "interesting" events. While I was waiting, someone just happened to throw a chunk of bread onto the ground (I got lucky). Naturaly, all the pigeons started to wrestle to get to it, so I went and took those pictures. When I stiched the panorama, I swaped the pigeon pictures for the originals. I did a lot of editing of this image in Photoshop. There were numerous "half" pigeons walking around (artifacts from the stiching process), if you look closely you will find that I left a "half" pigeon in. Can you find it? Return |
