| The largest waves on any coastline in the word are thought to be during winter storms along the coasts of Oregon and northern California. The weather was fine when this picture was taken, but the waves were over twenty feet high (splashign up one hundred feet). It was because a storm was approaching, and by midnight there was high wind and heavy rain. | |||
