QuickTime VR is a revolutionary technology pioneered by Apple Computer that allows you to interact with an image - you can look up, down, right, left, even around behind, and zoom in and out. It is the next best thing to being there.
Needless to say, this is a technology with immense implications for teaching and learning about geography and environment. These images were all created from photographs of actual places.
