Northern California - The Redwood Highway
			Most north coast communities rely on the timber industry, but Ferndale, on the lush flats near the mouth of the Eel River, has always been a dairy town. Nineteenth century prosperity was responsible for its elegant main street and many charming gingerbread houses, now a major draw for tourists.
