Northern California - Mount Shasta
			The upper Sacramento River area is dominated by the volcanic rocks and landforms of the Cascade volcanoes. But midway up the canyon a mass of granite juts upward - the Castle Crags. Like a little bit of Yosemite, it is a magnet for hikers and climbers.
