Amzrou, Draa Valley, Province of Ouarzazate

The town of Amzrou is located in the heart of the Draa Valley in southern Morocco. Temperatures are very high here from April until October. Amzrou is a typical oasis ksar, with the primary building materials adobe; buildings tall and continuously joined together. It is very dark at street level and much of the activity of everyday life takes place on the roof in good weather.
