The Chinese view the complex surfaces of natrally weathered limestone as art objects and place them in prominent locations in gardens and indoors. Depending on their shape and history such stones may cost many thousands of dollars on international art markets. Sometimes there is some "human" enhancement of their "natural" shapes.
