| Komodo Dragons are the largest monitor lizards in the world and grow up to ten feet in length and 300 lbs. They are endemic to Komodo and nearby Rinca Islands, and western Flores: that is, they are found nowhere else on earth! They survive on deer and wild pigs and can expand their mouths to swallow large pieces or prey whole. They are considered dangerous to humans especially children. | |||||
