Coast Live Oak Forest

Camp Tamarancho, Fairfax, California
April 1995

This image presents a common view of coast live oak (Quercus agrifolia) woodland as commonly seen in the central coast mountains. This woodland is not currently grazed by livestock but past grazing probably helped to shape the open, park-like character of this grove.
