Conditions for Use of Images from the Geo-Images Project |

All photographs are copyright by the respective photographers. The Geo-Images site is copyright by the Regents of the University of California. Unauthorized use of images is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. The purpose of the Geo-Images Project is to make these images widely available, primarily by publishing them on this website. It is recognized that there are other, more specialized, educational uses that may require using them in other contexts. These include class and individual websites, and inclusion in term papers. It is assumed that approved uses will be of a limited number of images, and for a limited time. Permission to use these images is generally granted if the purpose is both educational and non-profit. To obtain permission please contact either the project director or the author of the relevant chapter. Project Director: G.
